Because of limited space at camp, an application process is required. Applying is free and is in no way a commitment to attend. We recommend that you fill out an application even if you are on the fence. The application is so that we can efficiently put our camp roster together.
Acceptance is based on a variety of factors --- what your needs are as a student, what our needs are to keep dance classes and musical groups balanced, your flexibility in regards to your room sharing situation, and your general enthusiasm for the experience. But mostly is just a formality to organize the camp as well as we can. Don't be afraid of applying!
We only have room for 30 people total per week. With the success of camp over the last 5 years, and many returning campers each year, spots at Welbourne Jazz Camp are now in high demand. We strongly suggest you apply/register AS SOON AS POSSIBLE in order to secure a spot. If accepted, you'll need to send a partial deposit or full payment immediately to hold your spot. Spots are not held without payment.
Being accepted does not mean your spot at camp is guaranteed. A full or partial payment is REQUIRED in order to hold spots.
Please register and pay immediately. Half of your total costs are due upon registering and the rest is due 4 weeks later. Missed payments may result in a price increase.
